Join us for the 2025 ICLE & GALE SIG Collaborative Conference: “Encounters at the Crossroads: Intersections of Diverse Identities and Cultures”. This conference will explore how language education serves as a meeting ground for diverse identities, experiences, and perspectives.

This all-day event will feature more than 20 presentations, a poster session, and a plenary session by speaker Diane Hawley Nagatomo: “An exploration of identity and experience: Shaping language education in Japan, one teacher at a time”.

  • Conference date: September 13, 2025 (Saturday) 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Venue: Keio University, Hiyoshi Campus (Yokohama)
  • Online registration fee by August 31st September 12th, 2025: 1,000 JPY (JALT members) and 2,000 JPY (Non-JALT members) 
    • Order by September 7th to order food with your registration
  • On-site registration fee: 3,000 JPY (JALT members / Non-JALT members)
